Drapery Fresh is a unique system for drapery cleaning: we clean your drapes in your home or office where they hang!
- No more bare windows for a week or more!
- No pick up and delivery charges!
How It Works
First, we will identify any conditions that may present cleaning challenges such as permanent stains, sunlight damage, etc. We will give you an evaluation of what kind of results we expect.
Dry soil removal is the most important step in cleaning any textile. Your drapes will be completely vacuumed to remove dust and dry soils.
Chem Sponge Cleaning
Specially treated “sponges” will be used to remove soil. These sponges are treated with dry-cleaning solvents, but do not have any liquid in them. These “dry” sponges are great for removing oil based soils that become airborne when cooking, etc.
The Drapery Fresh product is a special solution made just for drapes that displaces additional soils and brightens the drapes at the same time. This product is lightly misted onto the drapes.
Sunrise Clean Care isIICRC-certifiedin upholstery cleaning and is recognized as one of the most educated and experienced upholstery care companies in the Atlanta area.
After a thorough inspection, our certified technicians will determine the proper cleaning procedure for your specific needs.
Our technicians utilize a ten-step method of cleaning upholstery depending on what kind of fabric is on your furniture. Our goal is to preserve the fabric along with maximizing the cleaning results. Furniture acquires different kind of soil than do floor coverings. The main kind of soil our upholstery receives is from body oils from our hair, hands, and body. These oils attract the soil from the air, and over a period of time the fabric starts looking dingy. When Sunrise Clean Care cleans your upholstery, the fabric will look brighter and fresher and smell better. We highly recommend ScotchGuard™ Fine Fabric Protector by 3M to ensure your fine fabrics continue to have lasting beauty between cleanings.
From heavily soiled to light cleaning, our 10 step cleaning process is designed to restore your furniture as close to its original condition as possible. We can clean all types of upholstery, even the most delicate of fabrics like silk, satins, and brocades. Sunrise doesn’t just clean one way, our method of cleaning is dependent upon the kind of fabric is on your piece of furniture.
Our 10 Step Upholstery Cleaning Process:
Our service technician will inspect the upholstery, noting fabric type and soiling conditions. He will also advise you of any possible permanent staining.
Your upholstery will be thoroughly vacuumed to remove dry soil. Removing dry soil is one of the most important steps in cleaning.
Pre-Spray & Pre-Spot
The fabric is “pre sprayed” with special cleaning compounds specially designed for your particular fabric& soil condition. This loosens up the soil to make rinsing more effective.
The pre-spray will be worked into the fabric with a white towel or a horsehair brush, specially designed for this use.
Rinse and Extract
Once the soil has been loosened, we will thoroughly flush the fabric with our specially designed upholstery extraction tools. This step sanitizes & deodorizes fabric. Water pressure is regulated so that fabric is not over wet.
Every piece that we clean is pH balanced so there is no sticky residue left behind. This treatment is applied as a rinse thru the machine or is applied after rinsing depending on soil conditions.
If any spots are not removed during the cleaning process, specialty-spotting techniques are employed - we have written procedures for every situation.
If the fabric has a knap, the knap is set in one direction using a grooming brush or white towel.
Piece is thoroughly inspected by technician.
3M ScotchGuard™ Protection (If Selected)
We highly recommended fabric protection of all furniture cleaned. Once all the soil and debris is removed from the fabric the protection will protect the fabric from permanent staining, make it easier for you to spot clean, as well as prevent the fabric from wearing.
Sunrise Clean Care cleans your rugs directly where they are lying. Yes, even on polyurethane hardwood floors. No moisture penetrates through the backing what so ever. No need to be without your rugs for days. We use special cleaning solutions designed to achieve maximum results.
You’ve invested a lot in your beautiful rug floor coverings, and we understand your concerns. Whether they are silk, wool, or synthetic we can clean your rugs directly where they are laying. Our certified technicians have received specialized training in the proper cleaning that Oriental rugs require. Incorrect cleaning methods and solutions can leave a residue that dirt will adhere to, and your rug will get dirty more quickly. Dirt and sand act like sandpaper as you walk on the rug and grind them into the surface. This can cause premature wear and damage. To enhance the beauty of your rugs give us a call today.
Oriental Rug Orientation: How to Care for Your Oriental
- Rotation – To insure even wear, your rug should be rotated once a year. Depending on the traffic, the rotation may vary from six months to two years.
- Vacuuming – Oriental rugs, like most carpeting, should be vacuumed on a regular basis to remove dirt and restore life to the fibers. Be sure not to vacuum the fringe with your beater bar! Use the end of a vacuum hose from a canister vacuum.
- Padding – A quality pad used under your rug helps protect it from dirt, wear and slippage.
Spot and Spill Procedures – Make sure that you safely and immediately clean up spots and spills before they set.
- First, soak up the excess liquid by blotting with a clean absorbent material. Do not brush or rub the stain
- Then spot-clean with a mild detergent solution. Do-not over wet.
- Rinse area thoroughly with water. Avoid wetting the rug's backing
- Blot dry until most of the moisture has been absorbed
- Allow to air dry. A fan or cool hair dryer can be used to hasten the drying process.
- For stains that do not come out using these methods, ask our cleaning specialists
